Lily Sharp's mum panicked when she received a bunch of texts claiming to have kidnapped her daughter and demanding ransoms
Lily took steps to make sure the prank was as realistic as possible, too.
Lily played on her mum's greatest fear by pretending the kidnapper had possession of her daughter's phone.
After the elaborate ruse, Lily text her mum with a selfie saying she's joking and that she's home "safe and sound".
But her mum didn't take too well to the joke, responding in absolute anger...
The prank has gone viral, receiving 18000 retweets and 25000 favourites - some are saying it was super cruel, others think it was hilare. What do YOU think?
