Surprise induction offer

I am due the 11th, but got a surprise at my weekly appt yesterday morning when my doctor asked me if I wanted to be induced on the 9th!  He said I am dilated 4cm, and have a very favorable cervix for induction.  He is going on vacation next week and really wanted to be the one to deliver my baby, so my husband and I decided to take him up on his offer.  It really has made things easier so far; my family and best friend were able to book hotels ahead of time so they can be here for it and I took off work today to rest and do some last minute prep.  Should I be feeling guilty for "cheating?"  I had originally planned to let nature take it's course.
