When does a tear after delivery completely heal?

DS came Aug 5 at 4am and doctor did not tell me what degree tear I got but I am sure that I got a tear because at the end, my epidural wore off and I felt her stitching me down there.

Up 'till now it still feels uncomfortable down there like I can't move normally because it feels like I'm going to tear again.

How long does it take for the tear to completely heal?

Take a mirror and have a look. You can google what each degree of tearing looks like. Very odd that your doctor wouldn't tell you imo

I had a second degree tear and one continous stitch. I was cleared to resume all sexual activities, at my 6 weeks check up.  I stopped bleeding at 4 weeks pp. I used the spray bottle they give u, along with the numbing spray and witchazel pads, 5 times a day until 6 weeks check up. I stopped having any pain around 4 weeks pp, but I wanted to make sure I baby my vagina until I'm positive it's healed

Same happened w me. I know I got stitches, they didn't tell me how many. The discomfort lasted around 3 weeks or a little more

So do you know if you have stitches or not?
I don't know what my degree was- but I had five stitches- probably felt better and healed around 4 weeks.
