What is the right thing to do here?
I'm very serious about getting back into the gym but I wanna practice weight training now. However, idk anything about the weights. I could go to the gym and ask them for a trainer but they hardly ever have any available (I'm in college so I'm talking about my school gym) however, I have a huge friend who's a gym rat and could train me for free but he's a male. I totally dodge the gym because I am one of those females who feel totally uncomfortable when exercising around men (judge me idc because a lot of women feel similar) anywho, so having my male friend train me I think would make me feel totally uncomfortable and I know that he's attracted to me meaning I know that he thinks that I am an attractive woman being that he's made suggestive yet kind compliments a couple of times in the past but there's no chance in h*ll that's he has anything more for me than just a mere attraction, I am sure of this. But if he were to train me, could some feelings BEGIN to grow because that's totally not what I want? I'm also in a loving relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years. The guy is a mutual friend of ours and my boyfriend has no problem with it because he trust both me and my male friend. Ladies, the last thing in trying to do in this post is to sound arrogant. I'm not trying to make it sound like I'm Beyoncé and I have men falling at my fingertips because I'm the 💩 and I know I got it like that lol not at all 😂✋🏽 I'm just saying that I am a women who needs help in the gym and I'd like to ask a mutual male friend of me & my boyfriend who I know is attracted to me but nothing more. Do you think that working with him is completely harmless or risky because you never know where his emotions may lead?
