Pregnant at 17 ?

I'm 4 weeks and 4 days today, I am also 17 years old I'm so nervous and don't no how to tell my family especially my mom. My boyfriend has a full time job and is currently looking for an appartment I'm thinking if I should wait but it's so hard not to tell!

You should tell your parents as soon as possible! I'm 18 and was in the same boat as you I was so scared no actually terrified to tell my parents to the point where it would make me nauseous even just thinking about it but I did tell them and to my surprise they were not mad at all! They were very supportive in helping me make the right decision and the decision I did make (to keep the baby) they were very accepting of and are now very much on my side and willing to help me with anything I need! Trust me your parents are the best support system you will have even if they are a little mad at first they are the only ones that will truly have your back!! Good luck!!

I'm 18. I'm 12 weeks pregnant. The sooner you tell your parents the better you will feel. You will need lots of support along the way. I told my mom when I was 6 weeks only because we are pretty close. She was actually happy☺️ in our family we see babies as a blessing👶💕 I have a very supportive family and boyfriend which helps so much. Especially since your probably still in school a pregnancy will be more difficult for you. I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first I was scared to tell my mom at first but once I told her she was very supportive and help ful, I am now 19 and pregnant with my second and obviously really scared this time around but it's always good to have your family informed about your pregnancy everything always goes much smoother when your parents know

If you have a good understanding relationship with either parent, try speaking with them. It is scary and they might show disappointment.  But perhaps will be supportive,  if they know you and your SO are taking care of business,  and doing the responsible things that fallow. Abortion,  and perhaps even adoption might come up in conversation so just be sure you know exactly what you want for you and your little ones future. You are still young so just be sure you are firm. Sometimes our parents might look at us like we don't know where we are headed or what we are doing, and honestly no one knows what they are doing when it comes to growing a family, so take it slow, know what your devotion is and stick to it.

I think you should tell your parents, maybe at first they'll be shocked maybe even upset, but in the end they're the ones that will have your back and support you. Just given them time. 17 is young but you need support.
