I have struggled with breakout-prone skin since I was a teenager (I am now almost 31). Being on the NuvaRing for nearly seven years, it definitely helped keep breakouts at bay, but I was worried what would happen when I went off of it. To my (pleasant) surprise, my skin did not have a total meltdown, but I began experiencing breakouts/irritation on my chest and around my hairline, with no change in any products used on my body or hair. I am wondering if it has to do with stopping the NuvaRing? I have been off of it for about six months and still experience chest and hairline irritation. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
