I have been wanting to change my hair for about 2 years now. The only thing stopping me is my job. No, my job has no rules on hair. But, I am the only black person at my job. It's in a small, predominantly white town. I really want to go through with it, but don't feel like hearing about it at work regardless if it's good or bad. How do I get over this?

I currently wear my hair straight everyday, but want braids.
