Okay so it's my first time to ever take a pregnancy test. I'm 38 years old. These are first response tests, one taken this morning and 1 yesterday afternoon. My period is not due until Wednesday. Is it possible to get false positives this early? I'm on day 23 of my cycle, it's usually 26 days. I did the clear blue advanced digital ovulation tests and just got 9 days of flashing smiley faces, no solid smile. Sorry for the long message!

And this might be a silly question but can I go to my GP for confirmation tomorrow or do I need to wait til my period is missed?
