so my due date is tomorrow! super excited and still working... I clean amd do maintenance for a child care center and we are open all week long.. sundays i work 10hrs and im the only person here from my department... so i have been here for almost 2 hours now and the radio is silent not one call about anything... so i went to the front and asked the customer service ladies if they needed anything and they were like "oh we asked the manager to take care of it, no worries you just rest"... i wanted to flip out... like okay yes i am basically 40weeks prego and can pop at any minute but i am here to do my job until then... i told them " well its my job and thats what i am here for the manager has other things to do and im here for the next 8 hrs so if you need something done call me."... they responded "well your pregnant so you really shouldnt be doing anything"... i lost it....i didnt yell but i loudly and slowly said "I AM PREGNANT... NOT DISABLED, IM HERE TO DO MY JOB, SO YOU NEED TO CALL ME IF YOU NEED ANYTHING DONE"... They just stared at me... so sick of people thinking i cant do anything... so sick of people saying omg whay are you still working... or how are you still able to work... i have two fucking legs and am able to work thats why im still working. i have a family to provide for and i was told by my doctor to keep busy and not get lazy towards the end.
