Babyproofing the babysitter's house
Is it rude to ask someone to baby proof their house if they want to babysit there?
Here's the back story... so my MIL desperately wants to babysit and probably will when I go back to work for any days the daycare is closed or whatever... but her house had open stairs in the middle of the main living area to the basement with no door, her living room has a glass coffee table that moves when you push it, end tables are glass and the plugs aren't covered... is it rude and overbearing to ask her to baby proof a bit? At least the stairs and glass coffee table? We don't have a gate to give her as we don't have stairs... and she would come here to babysit sometimes but not in the winter as she hates driving in winter.
