Would you stop TTC for your friend?

Okay ladies question for you. My husband and I are TTC our first child and began this past July. So far, BFN. My friend is getting married October of 2018 and I am in her wedding party. Her wedding requires me to travel half way across the country. Here is my problem, if I don't get pregnant soon, I won't be able to travel for her wedding. I'm not going to travel halfway across the country when I have just given birth (due to my circumstances I will be having a scheduled c section). Also, you can't travel via plane in your last trimester. So, what would you ladies do? Stop TTC for awhile so you could make it OR tell her you can't be a part of her wedding. This is a really, really tough spot for me. We have been friends for over 20 years. I'd just like to get some opinions. Thanks!

you dont know if you'll even conceive by then...i mean i hope you do... but i wouldnt put either plan on hold over something that hasnt happened yet.

I definitely would not stop ttc. I wouldn't even worry about the wedding until you are pregnant... you never know, you could get pregnant tomorrow or not until next summer, & then there won't be an issue.

I honestly think this is something you should discuss with your husband. I don't think it's fair to him to stop because of your friends wedding.

I've thought about this, because my childhood friend is getting married next May and if my husband and I got pregnant, I would be due right around that time (I'm a bridesmaid). We're not TTC, but I still think about if a surprise happened. 
I briefly mentioned it to my friend, and her response? "You can have a baby!! Don't let my wedding stop you! You CAN have a baby!" 😂 I'm like, "But I don't even want one yet!" Haha. 
That's all just to say, if my husband and I were trying-- I would simply communicate. Communicate with my husband and consider if it means a lot to us to have a baby right now, or if it can wait. And also possibly communicate with your friend. She can't tell you what to do, but hopefully-- if she's a good friend-- her response will help you put aside any concerns you might have about it (while also warning her that she could be down a bridesmaid). I can't imagine I would've been angry at one of my bridesmaids for getting pregnant. 
Or, you could wait it out. Keep doing as you're doing and cross that bridge if/when you get to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If she's any kind of friend she won't tell you to stop trying to stay your family for her wedding. You keep trying,  and if she says anything about it,  just tell her the truth,  you can't put your life on hold for her.

I personally would continue ttc and let her know that you would love to be a part of her day but if you do get pregnant that you may not be able to make t. You can't schedule your life around someone else's. You'll resent her for it.

You can fly in your third trimester unless your high risk. I know a lot of women that do. (Work at a OBGYN office.)

I'd keep trying. Family is the most important thing, don't stop your family plans for a friend. My friend got married 3 weeks after I had my baby and I didn't go to the wedding because I had just given birth and didn't want my daughter around all of those people.
