I think it depends. I'm 14 and I'm in a relationship. I think relationships can be great if each person is emotionally mature enough to handle it. In my opinion, I don't think people that young should be investing themselves in serious romantic relationships at that age. But if you want to get to know someone, have fun with them, and learn about life together, that's cool. Thinking about longevity is a bit too far for 14 year olds from my point of view.

Maybe not for a serious relationship, but a little puppy love thing I don't have a problem with. 14 year olds are going to find a way anyways. I know I did 😂

dating is literally just figuring out what you want and dont want in a partner its all trial and error my first boyfriend was when i was 13 and i learned alot about myself like i was really jealous and i had the preconception about what dating should be and ive learned to grow up because of it and plus when your that young your just starting to figure out what dating is and what it really means to date my mom was always supportive so i always felt comfortable to talk to her but that being said dating is fine but dont and i repeat DO NOT rush things relationships doesnt have to nean try and grow up as fast as you can its not like jn the movies sorry but its fact take it slow and move at a pace your comfortable with he tried to pressure your (or she) then drop them dont give into that

Yes and no and yes what she said if both people are mature for it then ok yeah sure but if your parents dont agree then i would listen im 19 and dated at 14 and my life was hell afterwards and i cant change it im a teen mom of a 5 month old boy and i will not allow him to date that young he will when hes old enough to move out of my house but dont have your heart set on just that one because you are young you have your whole life ahead of you ive made my path you never know if that person is gonna stay with you or not and there is many more fish in the sea make sure this person wants to be with you just as much as you wanna be with him and if not then its not meant to be somebody else will come scoop you up and love you even more

No, I think being in a relationship at 14 is fine. I was, and it was great!  Gave me a lot of confidence. That being said, take things slow 😊

It depends. If a person is ready to be in a relationship then it’s their decision but if they don’t feel ready then it’s up to them. Every person matures at a different age and it depends on the individual. Personally, I am 14 and I’ve been in a ‘serious’ relationship for 3 months. This may not seem long compared to others in my grade/year who some have been dating for over 1 year. In conclusion, I believe that it is up to the individual if they are ready.
