Road trip with 5 month old, help?

Thursday the 24th, we will be moving to Wyoming from Oregon and will be driving. We have a 5.5 month old baby girl that will be going on her first SUPER long drive. The most she's done is about 1 hour and 45 minutes of straight driving. She is breast milk fed, both boob and bottle. Any suggestions from Parents who've driven long distances with young ones/infants? Anything will help, especially since I'm a FTM.

We go on long distance drives frequently. My advice is stop regularly to feed and give your baby a break from the seat. Most babies sleep a lot in the car so hopefully yours will too. Make sure to pack snacks and drinks for yourself too!

You're brave. That's a busy time to be traveling through the busiest states because of the eclipse.... maybe drive at night when baby will be sleeping most of the time? New toys she hasn't seen or played with yet, given one at a time when needed so she's not fed up with the same old same old and is occupied with something new. Baby sprout shows to keep her entertained. We went from Las Vegas NV to Yuma AZ when my baby was about the same age; it was pretty easy to be honest. Just needed to get out and stretch every hour or two.
