My 1 month old baby struggles to sleep on her back. Newborns are supposed to get over 15 hours of sleep a day and she probably only gets 7 or 8 max. I have tried everything for a month to get her to sleep on her back and she hates it. I have tried a tight swaddle also and she cries until I take it off her, she hates that too. I have tried white noise. Nothing seems to help. She won't sleep in her bassinet and I won't let her sleep in her swing (that she loves) because I know that does increase the chance of SIDS. The only time she will sleep in her bed side bassinet is on her stomach, and she sleeps very well. No judgement please, I have done tons of research on SIDS, I would just like to hear if there are other babies that refuse to sleep on their back as well.
