I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and had a ppo and was able to see my ob three times now. Before I found out I was pregnant I switched back to hmo because ppo is just too expensive! I've had two miscarriages in the past.Over the weekend I bled a little and went to the ER, baby had a heartbeat and was told to go to see my ob asap for a follow up. Now that I have hmo I have to get a referral and wait until the 22nd to see my ob to make sure everything is okay. I'm frustrated and stressed out, it shouldn't be this difficult to see a doctor!
