Brown spotting mid cycle?

I woke up this morning with some brown discharge that has lasted all day along with some cramping. I had cramps on 4/6 and all day today but I'm not supposed to ovulate until 4/10. I've never had brown discharge in the middle of my cycle before so I'm just a little thrown off. I also don't have any of the usual symptoms I usually have around this time like sore breasts. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
