I had one! Our situation came out great we ended up together After catching feeling for each other and a lot of heartbreak with each other. We now have a son and a baby on the way. Do not do it unless you know you won't end up with feelings for one another. It's so hard and we got really lucky.

I have a FWB relationship right now and he's super chill. we aren't worried about making it a real romantic relationship cuz we both have a fear of commitment and what we have is comfortable. but it's great cuz I can just ask to hangout whenever I want someone to cuddle with or anything else ;)

When you want a fwb, are both of legal age, have discussed safe sex and have some sort of agreement in place so that neither of you gets hurt (emotionally) if one starts to fall for the other and understand that it's purely sex on top of your friendship.
