So my SIL (my brother's wife) has been planning to throw me a baby shower. I'm working on a guest list. My mom has been planning to help with this shower as well. I'm very excited for her to host a shower.

The problem comes that my husband's mother wants to do something as well, because she feels left out 😳...! If she threw a shower it would be mostly his side of the family and probably some of her friends.

My MIL majorly stresses me out. She makes things about her, and is very pushy and overbearing.

I'm just not sure what to do?

One shower? Two so she doesn't feel left out?

If I have two showers, do I invite the MIL and my mom to both?

I would almost rather not have them in the same place (if I have 2 showers) because that gives me anxiety... 😳😕😩
