Calling all pregnant waitresses!! ... how long did you/could you work for?

Its physically hurting me. Like very badly. I'm trying to go as long as I possibly can. Any advice? Would love to hear your experiences

Girl I feel your pain i work 5-6 waitressing for 8 hour shifts each day... gotta do what i gotta do for my baby girl!! I'm 31 1/2 weeks and honestly DYING I'm praying these next 8 weeks hurry up! I'm going to try and work as long as possible but I'm going to cut down on my shifts and not work as much when the time gets closer bc these 5-6 days ain't cuttin it I'm gunna fall out

I only lasted until 12 weeks 😂😂 worked in a steak house along side awful morning sickness... it didn't pan out very well. Luckily my husband holds down the fort and I was fortunate enough to not work this pregnancy

I'm almost 31 weeks and i waitress 5 days a week and yes it is so hard. Sometimes I have to tell them like please let me go first! But gotta do what you gotta do right? I hope the kitchen staff at least help you as much as possible. Like I don't carry the glass racks or lift them because they put too much strain on me and the baby. Don't push your body tooooooo much but I sympathize with you for working so hard!

I was 29 weeks when I stopped working. My boss turned into a real jerk about me needing drs appointments off and made me reschedule them and such (my pregnancy got some complications and I had to go more often) so I just put in my two weeks. He gave to two days then ended my employment. I worked there 3.5 years for that shit... my plan was to work until 35 weeks though.

I'm going to have to stop soon! I'm almost 32 weeks with twins so I'm considered "high risk." I'm also a gymnastics coach and that has been very physical. I don't want to stop but I've been having contractions and 31 weeks is still too early for me to go into labor.

I put 35-36 weeks, however, I'm not a waitress BUT I do work in food service 7-8 hour shifts 5 days a week and it is miserable. I would have stopped working as soon as I hit the third trimester if money wasn't so tight, but I plan on leaving right at 35w. Currently 32+5 and dying 😅

Not a waitress, but a deli clerk so I still have to run around making sandwiches, hot food, slicing meat, even frying chicken(though my boss has been generous enough to not make me fry chicken since my second trimester..) I work 40 hours a week, 9 hour shifts, still.. at 38 weeks tomorrow.. it's incredibly tough and if I had any other way to pay bills I would be in bed, resting. But this is what I need to do to provide for this little man.

I live in Mexico and our government mandated maternity leave starts at 34 weeks. You can now transfer up to 4 weeks from the prenatal phase for postnatal, as long as your doctor approves it but in my case being high risk it rarely is approved.  Since my last baby was born at 34 weeks I didn't request it, and instead I was very happy to go on leave at 34 weeks. As I presumed it, my baby is comung a bit early, I'm having my c-section today, at one day shy of 37 weeks. This means I still have until November 1st of leave to enjoy with my baby boy.

Accidentally hit 37-38.  I've actually been on modified best rest and on FMLA since 19 or 20 weeks.  Now 29 weeks.

I worked 3 day before I had my son. plan on doing the same with this one. if I get pains I stop and take a min and drink some water then keep on going. I bartend work 45 hours a week
