I've tried to research on my own and plan to ask my doctor at my next appointment, but what is a safe amount of time for a baby to be in a car seat? We live 1 1/2 hours away from the hospital I will be delivering at and 1 hour away from the doctor we will be using. I will also be going back to work when he is only 6 weeks old, and since I'm an infant teacher at a daycare, he will be going with me and it's 50 minute drive. So we will be spending lots of time in the car and I'm worried already. What have your doctors told you about time in the car seat?
