Have been timing my contractions for about a week... mostly Braxton hicks (I think - first time mom!) but today, I have been feeling them consistently, in my lower back and thighs.

Trying to follow the 5-1-1 rule my doctor advised before calling! ❤️

Update:

I called my doctor around midnight, who suggested we head to the hospital. Was checked at L&D; at 2am; I was 4cm and in "active labor" with contractions 5 min apart. Was given the option to get admitted, or go home until contractions are 3 min. So we're home waiting it out. They're still 4-5 minutes apart nearly 12 hours later. Patiently waiting!❤️
