These literally happen ALL THE TIME. They just don't cross America often because of how the earths rotation is. Go google lists of solar eclipses. It's natural occurrence- like the moon changing or a thunderstorm. Normal.

This superstition is bullsh*t, and people with differences aren't curses, and the sun isn't going to curse your baby; it's just a shadow.
And before anyone claims it's their tradition- if that were true you'd know these superstitions are based on the LUNAR eclipse- which, shock, doesn't cause deformities either.
