1st ultrasound 2 sacs? One baby=confused

Question

Anyone else have an ultrasound with two sacs, one with a healthy baby and one sac in shadow? Dr is not sure if there is anything in the second one but another ultrasound in 3 more weeks.

It could be that 2 sacs developed by accident. Or it could be that 2 sacs developed intending twins, but only one baby was created :)

I've read somewhere that the body will shed one baby If it doesn't have what it needs to support two. It would rather lose one than both. Hopefully not the case here
