Birth control?

I'm only 12 but my period kills me. My mom and dad are split, and I live with my dad. I'm scared to ask him because I think he'll take that as I'm sexually active. Please I need help!!

don't tell him you want birth control just tell him you want to go to the doctor to get something to help with cramps. if you're not asking for that specifically then he shouldn't think anything of it

Then maybe don't ask for birth control but ask about going to the doctor for your pains and bad period. Then once you get to the doctor ask if birth control is an option. You can have him step out of the room at any time. Then the doctor can mention birth control to your dad for cramps and such instead of you asking.
