is the genetic testing accurate?

i was told my baby is a girl 😊 but i'm almost 18 weeks i was going to find out through ultra sound in about 1 week, but i just couldn't contain myself and asked for the results... so is it accurate??? i wanted to do a gender reveal today because i'm so beyond excited and i dident wanna go revealing it's a girl then find out it's a boy through ultra sound.. was everyone who had it done correct??
