Absolutely Devastated

I'm just over 6 weeks and had some spotting on and off all weekend. Well last night I went pee and it was bright red blood, so I was obviously worried but didn't have any pain so went back to sleep. Woke up this morning with a horrible headache and my tummy had cramps and more bleeding. I usually have horrible periods so I knew this wasn't as bad but I also knew that any bright red blood is not a good sign, so I tried to call my ob but the office was closed. So I went to the ER. Hours later I had my ultrasound and blood test results and they told me that they couldn't see anything on the ultrasound but maybe I was earlier than I thought but my hormone levels were only at 447, my initial levels were 209 almost 2 weeks ago ...so I knew it was bad. They are making me come back in 48 hours to check my hcg levels to confirm a miscarriage. I'm so devastated. My bf and I had tried for a year and a half, and having pcos the fact that I got pregnant in the first place was a blessing....now I feel like this is a sick joke where I don't get the punch line 😣😔
