What did the baby feel like the first time?

Can you describe the first time you felt your baby move?

I keep hearing people say it's a flutter, or feels like gas moving.... I am a FTM and am 17 weeks. I felt something today and wondering if it could have been baby. It felt as if something (baby) rolled over.

The way I keep describing it to my boyfriend is that it feels like a fish swimming around in there lol it is like light flutters and a little bit of pushing occasionally. But he keeps joking about putting a fish in me! 😂😂😂

Yes that's exactly what it feels like! Like popcorn in my belly😍 I'm 19 weeks tomorrow and he/she moves more and more every day! I'm enjoying it so much! My hubby even got to feel a couple kicks yesterday for the first time!!

I didn't feel any flutters or stuff like that because I have an anterior placenta so my first time feeling him was a very distinct thump in my lower belly like someone flicked me from the inside

This is my first healthy pregnancy. I'm in my 18th week and it kind of feels like laundry in a slow motion dryer, underwater. When my bladder is full, I can also feel like a random pulsing sensation on my bladder. I'm pretty sure it's the baby kicking my bladder. Haha so hard to explain these feelings. I make my hubby listen to my stomach when I get nervous after not feeling baby for a little bit. He says there's a swishing sound or water moving around in a bottle. (He swears that it's not just stomach gurgling noises, but I still want to try to buy a cheap stethoscope!)

I was able to tell with my first when I sat back and could feel what was like water pulsing in my stomach but I wasn't moving.

at first it honestly felt like gas but the same type of movement in the same spot. now I still have some of that but I also get what feels like when you feel a burp coming up from your stomach, that bubble that feels like it's going to pop but doesn't, it feels just like that but in one area under my stomach. there's also time when I have pressure on my bladder from outside it but still in my body. intense need to pee and then it disappears

The first flutters felt like when my eye twitches, except in my belly of course 😂 that's the best way I can describe it
