Big baby???

Question

So at my 27 week appointment on Monday they measured my little man at 4lbs. Everything I read (which yes I know isn't always true) says he should be around 2lb this far along.  His dad was almost 10 lbs! I'm only 5' 2" and started my pregnancy at 115lb now at 126lbs.  Hoping this kid isn't massive! Anyone else go thru this?

I'm 36 wks and already almost 8 pounds, she's been measuring ahead all along too

Lol yep they just told me my little man was big (4lbs at 30 weeks).

Remember that ultrasounds are notorious for getting weights incorrect. They can be off by as much as two lbs! It's very difficult to get the weight of something floating in fluid simply by using a device that uses sound.
