What in the world is happening to me?!

So I got my "period" last Wednesday but I only bled for one day.  It was more than spotting but not full blown bleeding. On Thursday my breasts became super tender and are still hurting till today! Also I've been really bloated.  I took a preg test this past Tuesday and it was negative.  Is is too early to tell?
