Does taking the birth control will make me gain weight ?

Hey guys, so pretty much everything is said in title, does taking the birth control will make me gain weight?

I am still a virgin but I've been with my boyfriend for a little while now and I think I'm ready to have sex, and I was just wondering that, I heard that you could gain a lot of weight and I really don't want to. I've had an eating disorder and now I'm great, I like my body and I'm confident in it so gaining weight will really upset me and I'm afraid it will make me feel so bad.
