Gall Bladder Problems

Sarah • Seek adventure
Hey there! I am suffering from gallbladder issues (I'm 90% sure it's my gallbladder..) but will find out for sure what's going on on Friday. Has anyone had problems with it before? Has anyone had it taken out? I'm a personal trainer and I heard from a friend that I won't be able to lift heavy for 4-6 weeks post-surgery, which will definitely be an issue for me. I would love to know if there is a natural way to help out the symptoms. I appreciate any type of advice! Thanks!!

I had horrible Gall bladder attacks. My birth control was aggravating my gall bladder and causing them. I stopped taking the pill and all my gall bladder problems went away.

I had horrible gallbladder attacks for a whole year before the drs figured out what it was. I tried everything, apple cider vinegar, all the gallbladder friendly diets...nothing worked.Having it taken out was one of the best things I ever did. I was down afterwards for a couple weeks because mine was inflamed about 2 times the normal size, but my mom had hers out and she was back on her feet in a few days!

I had mine out almost a year ago. Recovery was definitely longer than 4-7 days..... more like 2 weeks and a full month for the incisions to heal.

I had 2 attacks in 3 days it was horrible and both times ended in the ER. I was 21 when I had mine out so that's been a few years. The surgery wasn't too bad and you do have to watch what you pick up. I don't regret getting it out. I felt so much better. Good luck

I am having mine out on the first, my doctor said the healing time for normal daily activities is 4-7 days, and back to workouts in about 2 weeks :) easy recovery for a stomach surgery! I am looking forward to finally being able to eat again. I have lost 60 pounds because of it, which I needed, just not in a 2 month time frame. Lol

I had an attack over a year ago. I was supposed to have surgery but really didn't want it. (My rainbow baby was a newborn at the time). I did my uncle's cleanse. I still have my fall bladder and if I feel a flare up I just do the cleaner again. The cleanse is 2 TBSP Apple cider vinegar in a 8 oz of Apple juice. It will soften your stones so you can pass them. I took this three times daily for about 4 days. I drink some juice regularly to help not to have a flare up.I hope this helps. I know there are essential oils that are said to help, but I would have to check my book to see which ones and how to use them.
