First time breast feeder?

I had my first baby and didn't try it with her. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and definitely want to try this time. what would everyone suggest for me. pointers ? I am planning on breast and bottle feeding. maybe switching between that and formula. pumping. I need all the details I have no idea where to begin

A bottle isn't recommended to be introduced until the breastfeeding relationship is firmly established. Whenever a bottle is given you have to pump to maintain supply so that your body knows it needs to make that milk. It's usually easier just to nurse.
Mixing the 2 can cause tummy issues for baby.
I agree with everything pp said. Definitely take a breastfeeding class and meet with an IBCLC.

Seek a lactation consultant! That will be the best help available!  If you plan on nursing try to do that full on with out formula! It will be easier for you if possible! Plus if you supplement with formula your body will not produce as much! It is all about supply and demand! It takes a lot of time and effort but it is def worth it! La leche league is a great resource! Also a breast feeding support group or class can be a lot of help! Good luck !!
