Does anyone here live in FL by the beach?

If so, where do you live and do you love it/hate it. Pros/cons. Not sure if I want to move near Tampa or more north west like Pensacola area. Advice please !!! I have a family of 4 and absolutely hate traffic...

I just moved to Port Saint Lucie from ny it's quiet enough to love and when I need to get anywhere busy it's only 30-45 mins to like west palm or Jensen but if you don't like traffic...I don't either...than big cities wouldn't be good I like being in a small town with the cities around me so if I wanna do something I can drive but it doesn't take an hour to get to walmart lol

I lived in Ft Myers FL most of my life(grew up In Lehigh Acres FL) I loved driving out to Sanibel/Captiva Island.  I miss it so much.  I hated living in the bigger towns though.  Have been thinking about moving back if I do it will definitely be more out in the country but not too far from the beaches either. :)

if you hate traffic stay away from living near beaches and all of Tampa is over crowded the more rural in FL the better off you will be like Myakka city , FL Parrish fl in Parrish you can be at the beach in 30 min but far enough away from city where you will rarely have any traffic
