When does a baby get a growth spurt?

My daughter is 3 weeks and for the first time she is so unsettled she doesn't sleep for more than 20 minutes she so restless and kicking her legs like mad. Could this be a growth spurt or can anyone tell me what it could be?

Or it could be colic(gas)! I thought the same thing but my son(now 4w) became fussy and irritated along with the kicking, wanting to eat every second. Come to find out he had colic.

My 3 week old is constantly feeding right now and he's very fussy. I think this may be a growth spurt, hoping it will pass soon as I have not had much sleep.

Yep it's a growth spurt/development leap. They occur at around 10 days, 3-4 weeks and 6 weeks. Mine's going through the 3 week  growth spurt at the moment and is just feeding constantly. Should settle soon. 😊

Mine did this last night.. literally up every like hour. I wondered the same thing... either that or gas.
