Is age an important factor in getting pregnant???

I m 31.. I have a kid already... We r planning for one more but had a miscarriage.. When the talk about another kid comes up , people scare me with their stories(Getting pregnant after 35 is very difficult).. Is it tat difficult????

It really depends on the person. My SIL got pregnant with out really trying at 38 and 40 years old. Others I've known having trouble at much younger. Each person is different!

It is. Simply because you have a finite stock of ovaries, the probability of a pregnancy decreases the older you get, I mean just like most body fonctions really it does not get better when you age. But keep in mind that every woman is different, and if you want to be sure any Gynecologist can help you with your questions by running tests on your hormones secretion, lubrification, ovulation,...

I'm only 25 so have no experience on this, but if it helps my mum had me when she was 38 and had a perfectly normal pregnancy. I was her third fourth child, third pregnancy (she had twins with her second)

There are 2 major fertility drop offs, after 30 and after 35. It doesn't mean that you are infertile it's jut that your chances are going down and they're going rather steeply. I think there is a difference between trying in your early thirties and trying in your late thirties- the ideal age for babies is in the twenties PHYSICALLY, but it is usually not ideal in all other aspects. I got pregnant on my first try at 28 and I'm curious to see how long baby #2 takes (I'm 32).

My grandma got pregnant in her 40s/50s (she wasn't sure of her age exactly lol) so it's possible. For some people it's hard for some it's easy

My aunt had my cousin when she was 37 and he's 3 now. And she already had a son who was 15 when my cousin was born. So it is possible. And both mom and baby were/are healthy

My best friends mom got pregnant when she was 39, and was 40 by the time baby was delivered! Both mom an baby were perfectly fine:) no complications at all. And she already had a 12 year old daughter
