What could his be???

Question

I've been putting nystatin powder and cream on it, washing with warm water and putting desitin through the night. Could it be something other than a yeast infection? Could it be perinatal strep. I already went to the urgent care and a doctor for this so I'm just asking for other moms opinions. I'm already doing what I was instructed to do. Its just not getting better. The top is yesterday. Bottom is today

To me it does sorta look like it is getting  better a tiny bit. Yeast rashes can be super stubborn and sometimes take a while to go away. Id try a few more days or the cream and what doctor suggested and see how that turns out. Try as much diaper free time as possible and to keep the area as dry as possible! Im no doctor but it looks the same as the yeast rash my son had so hopefully if you continue what your doing it should get better!

If this is a yeast rash, coconut oil mixed with a probiotic works really well and wiping the area down 1-2 times a day with apple cider vinegar diluted with water 1/3 water 2/3 vinegar. We had some serious issues with yeast and I was using the nystatin and an oral with my little, but found the coconut oil and vinegar actually worked better! Hope your baby's feeling better.

Lookes like herpes virus did u get any updates? Are they blisters from the pics I zoomed in and they look blister like

Try nystatin! Ask the pediatrician for it!! We went through this a couple times and it wouldn't go away until we got this cream
