hey ladies. I had my first ultrasound last week at 6w1d and the sonographer was able to see and measure the heartbeat but said it was too soon to hear the heartbeat. well she said we technically could but that its risky for the baby trying to hear it that early on. She said it's safer after 8weeks, even on the doppler. Anyone else been told that? I see lots of moms on here saying they got to hear the heartbeat at their first ultrasound and I just wish I could hear it too! but obviously not if it's dangerous to my baby.
