How did u ask ur mom or parents that you wanted a thong

I'm almost 15, I've always been curious about others first time buying thongs but, my mom at first was like "they don't cover up anything" and I said "that's basically the point"

At the time I got along w her. She didn't say a word when I put them in the shopping cart she just continued to shop and nothing was mentioned about them. Yesterday we went shopping again (1 year later) and they had a sale at the store wear you buy 6 for $25 or something and I found some normal underwear and bought some and I chose some lace underwear and 2 thongs she didn't say anything about it like last time. A couple weeks ago I went shopping w my friend and bought some thongs and I'm pretty sure my mom doesn't know. I think she's fine w me having thongs. One thing I can't convince her for me to try or have are tampons, she thinks that you will no longer be a virgin when you use tampons. I know that's not true but it just makes me laugh.😂 I told her millions of times that tampons don't mess with your Virginity in any way and I can't become pregnant. But I would really like some tips on how to be more open w things like these w my mom.
