Zoloft ?

Has anyone taken Zoloft ? I'm scared I took half today I was prescribed the dose of 50 I was suppose to be taking it since my daughter was about 1 month she is now 4 I was scared and listen to everyone tell me don't do it to be strong but honestly I haven't been feelinfmyself  lately it sucks I feel like my depression is coming back my mom has been bugging me to take it I feel like maybe she can see a change in me ?

I personally dont recommend it. I hated taking Zoloft. It "took my life away". Like it made me more depressed and not give a shit about anything. It made me a living zombie.

different people will react very differently to the same drug. my advice? listen to your doctor, consoder seeing a therapist to go with your meds. the pill,may take away the symptoms, but in my mind therapy actually fixes the problem, unless your only prob is a chemical imbalance.
take what your doc prescribed. give it a few weeks to take full effect. if you dont like it, tell the doc and they'll give you another thing to try. it isnt one size fits all, and there's a lot of meds for depression out there :)

I'm on it & it works really well for me! Like someone else posted, there's so much variation in how meds work for different people-- your best bet is to take it diligently & as prescribed for a while (6+ weeks) & see what you think. If you are worried about anything, let your dr know asap.

I used to take it. I was prescribed it after a suicide attempt and I was hospitalized.  it was the best thing ever. I never felt better then I did during the time I was prescribed it. it made me feel alive again. hope everything works out and things start looking up for you

You cant just get over depression and anxiety with positive thinking. take the meds as prescribed. You may be hit with side effects for about 2 weeks. but take them anyway, as prescribed and your body will get used to it and you'll feel soooo much better

I am 5 month PP and am seeing my doctor Monday in hopes to get back on needs myself. having been taking meds for depression since I was 7 I definitely see a change when I'm on them. I see myself stable and at my best.
