My son is 6 weeks old and is constantly squirming around especially in his sleep. I've tried swaddling him tightly, putting him in his swing and leaving it on, or even just letting him sleep on my chest. He will not stay still and he keeps waking himself up. The only way I get him to stay asleep is if I continually pat his butt while holding him or I let him cry himself to sleep. Be throws himself to the side or randomly lifts his head up while sleeping on me. If he's swaddled, he constantly has to stretch or just move his head around and btw, he seems to always get unswaddled. It seems like he wants to stay moving to stay asleep. I don't know. I'm at my wits end and need help. I'm completely exhausted.
