Co-sleeper?

Question

Is anyone else skipping the standalone crib and using a co-sleeping attachment to your bed? I'd like to do this at first but the only real co-sleeper option I'm finding online is the Arm's Reach and some DIY things. Would love some other options.

This is what we did. Bought a crib from IKEA ($69!) and assembled it without one side (alreAdy an option for a toddler bed). Then bumped it up against our bed.

We're doing only the arms reach cosleeper as well. No crib!

We don't have much room right now, so we were going to do a co-sleeper at first, but those are only recommended until about 4 months (depending on what you get), so we decided to go with a mini crib. Cheaper than a regular size crib, and small enough to fit in our room until we can buy a new house ☺️ though it does suck trying to find bedding for it.. If you go with a mini crib, take a look at Amazon and wayfair.com for bedding.

I am looking into renting a Bednest. They are a little pricey but I love the features. I also am considering the Halo sleeper.
