Due July 29th but had my baby Aug 2 @11:50 pm through water birth BEST THING EVER! The beginning of my labour was crazy I jumped from having contractions 26min - 10mins in less than an hour.

My ACTIVE labour started at 4pm by 4:15 I was scared and called the ambulance. I live about 45mins drive from the hospital Im supposed to birth at because they don't provide water birth at closer ones. I had no Choice but to go to the hospital across the street because the ambulance refused to bring me to the hospital of my choice... long story short(ISH).

I got checked by one nurse and she said I was 5cm dilated. My midwife said that's fine make your way you shouldn't have the baby for now. The nurse said wait you will have to sign a form to discharge u. I said ok bring them to me because I am leaving! INSTEAD of coming back with papers a doctor came in saying he's going to check me again. This was about 3mins NO CONTRACTION between and he says I'm 8-9 cm dilated AINT THAT A BITCH! I knew he was lying and I became annoyed and told them to bring me the papers I'm not having my baby at this hospital! They gave me trouble but I left and arrived at my hospital by 7pm I was checked again and I was only 6cm. Stupid doctor did lie. I jumped right into my birthing pool and the rest of my labour was perfect! I trusted my instinct and I couldn't be happier!
