My SO and I discussed it, and we decided we would ask all visitors (besides our parents) to hold off on coming until Saturday, giving us time to bond with the baby, and for me to recover and rest. I had a lot of complications with my first and bad experiences with visitors showing up without asking, so we didn't want that to be an issue this time. When my SO told his mom, she got upset. She apparently had invited her best friend to be there, not only sometime Friday, but during my section! 

I have met her friend ONE time, and she isn't even close to my SO- so I am not sure why she felt it appropriate to invite her. She complained that we "won't let her invite her friend" and is being totally ridiculous. She's ignoring me, and any time I text her, she will screenshot it and send it to my SO asking him what my texts mean! 

My SO is totally on my side with the whole thing, and he has tried explaining to her that this is what we want, but I'm afraid she is going to just do whatever she wants, and I'm going to lose it! Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to handle this?
