Hi there. Just curious if anyone on this app lives in the U.K.  ? I recently found out the company I work for is being bought out by a company in the U.K.  And I'm wondering how most companies maternity leave benefits are over there. If anyone has any insight I would love to hear it. Thank you. 💕

hi I'm in the UK you normally get 39 weeks pay . the first six weeks are 90% of your normal pay and the next 33 weeks are statutory maternity pay of around £104.00 or 90% pay which ever is lower xxx

Thank you ladies for your replies!! 💞 I've been stressing about it cuz the company I currently work for offer 4 months 100% paid leave and that was a huge factor in my husband and I decision to have another baby. And we still don't know anything about this new company. Thanks again!

Hi I'm from the UK too...it really does vary between all the different companies...I get 3 months full pay then 3 months half pay and then statutory pay...but there are other benefits like KIT days too (keeping in touch days)...but the usual is 39 weeks, 90% full pay and then statutory pay...xx

It varies a lot between companies and some offer enhanced packages for more senior employees or if you've been there for more than 18 months. I think our enhanced package is 3 months full pay, 3 months 90% and then statutory pay.
