I have and I did. Fortunately I have a husband who is calm in anger and he listened, asked a few questions and slept on the couch that night. We had a deeper conversation the next day and we worked through it. Be brave!

Wooooow people are judgy!
First of all 70 percent of all married couples cheat by the time they are 40 years old.
That's just a fact. (I study marriage , relationships and monogamy) 
Unmarried... lots of men cheat and lots of women cheat. The numbers are argued but regardless of the specifics, they are high.
I'm NOT justifying it. I think it's selfish and impulsive.
But my point is that many couples can and do work through infidelity. It is possible. 
If you cheated and want to stay, it's best to fess up and not have a relationship founded on lies.
