I don't understand how is the UK education system considered one of the best when clearly isn't. I don't mean to offend but I partly grew up in Portugal and returned to the UK for my GCSEs and was shocked of how easy it was! It was so basic that I did all of mine in just a year and managed to get As and A*s... there was hardly any homework that required more than 5 minutes of basic effort, and the lessons were basically reading a page in a book and do the exercises. I was also quite disturbed with the amount of bullying in the school I attended to - it is a real issue!
