Question.... so when you invite people to your baby shower do they have to bring a gift or it's not required... my moms best friend had a baby shower and one of there friends came but didn't bring a gift. I feel as though if they don't bring a gift they shouldn't come in the first place or is that being greedy? The point of the baby shower is to shower the baby with love & gifts. That's my opinion... any comments?

Update: okay so is a baby shower not like a birthday party in a way. Like you wouldn't show up to a kids party with no gifts or is that not the same scenerio?
