It's what I want!

I'm tired of people asking me what I'm studying in college and what I want to do when I grow up and having them say "oh that's it?"

**So I am currently in college aiming for my bachelors degree in Social Science. What I want to do with my degree is 1. Take and pass the CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) to become a certified substitute teacher and 2. Work closely with a school district. I love everything admin!

I also chose this career because I plan to one day have kids and I want to be able to work around the same schedule as their schooling. I want to be going home at the same time as them. Getting home to cook dinner for them and my future husband.

I also plan on taking time off and being a stay at home mom until my babies start preschool.

So tired of all the people saying "I couldn't do that. I want to be independent."

I understand that. I want to be successful just like everyone else, but I want to be a Mom/Wife first.

Is anyone else on the same boat as me?
