After Baby outgrows infant carseat what will you do?

When your baby outgrows his or her infant carseat what are your plans for your baby to move into. 
Also what are the laws in your state regarding rear or forward facing. Here in TN a baby can go forward facing at age 1 and when they exceed infant carseat weight limit. We plan on staying rear facing until 24 months.

The law here is still one, and that's when we flipped our oldest out of ignorance 6 years ago, but we know better now and regardless of laws the newbie will stay dear facing as long as possible- at least 2, ideally 3 even

Same here! My daughter is actually at the top of the charts for height and weight, but we still plan to do rear facing untilshe meets the max requirements 😊

The law in my state doesn't say a child has to be rear facing until 2 BUT that will soon be changing. Either way my son will be rear facing until he is 2 because it is the safest position for my precious boy

The law in my province is to follow the manual and the manual on my convertible seat says not to forward face before two.
