I'm 17 and I just got out of 7 month relationship. My boyfriend was 19 and in college. He broke up with me suddenly without warning. I was completely crushed and my family was very upset. After a week or two of being separated, he contacted me and said he want to get back together. He explained that he need some space and he acted on his gut instinct when he said he wanted to break up. He said that he regrets that he ended things and wanted to fix it. I'm open to getting back together with him, but my family is not happy about my decision. My father stormed in last night saying that someone told him that I've been speaking to my now ex. He demanded that I block him on my phone and never speak to him or mention him again. Around my house, what my father says is law, but I think he is being unreasonable. I really want to get back with my ex, but I'm risking getting horribly punished if I do this. My mom suggest that I give up on my ex or wait until I'm out of the house which would be three years from now. I really don't know what to do. Please help!!!
